A 100+ year manufacturing company decided to hive off its 2 cost centres viz IT and System Engineering and convert it into a profit centre by creating a 100% subsidiary called Kirloskar Systech Pvt Ltd. Viacom 18 Media Pvt. Ltd. is part of one of the largest media conglomerates in the country. A 50/50 joint venture operation in India between Viacom Inc and the Network18 Group, Viacom 18 Media Pvt. Ltd. operates multiple entertainment channels which are leaders in their respective genres – Colors, MTV, Nick, SONIC, Nick Jr., Vh1, Comedy Central. Viacom18 also runs a film business through Viacom18 Motion Pictures, that produces, acquires and distributes Hindi films. This apart, Viacom18 has a digital business, a LIVE events business and also runs a consumer products division in India. 

The client embarked on an SAP implementation project in 2014.

Within a few months of it’s implementation, client realized that several of it’s business processes were unique and required an SAP Media & Entertainment expert to be engaged to deliver in association with it’s implementation partner.

Moreover client sought to bring in stronger governance thru diversity, and planned to engage a 3rd party organization for quality assurance. ​As part of this project, they decided to implement SAP BI for reporting and analytics. ​Post go-live client reached out to SAP partners for Application Maintenance Support.
